Sub Cult’s Special EP number 7 features the Portuguese techno-wizkid known as Du’Art, doing what he does best: rocking dance-floors around the world. On this EP he drops three solid grooves for you to bounce to. First up is the aptly named “Bass 4 U” with an infectious growling bass and sporting double kicks that immediately makes the floor shake. “Musa” up next, slower but pumping and more tribal-based with a melodic breakdown. Closing off the EP is “Remember Detroit” which is another bass-heavy banger from the top shelf. The bleepy synth, breakbeat down-parts and oldschool clap/hihat-series build up this monster of a tune to a most effective drop in the middle of the track.
