]]>His voice is heard clearly and recognised instantly in the opening track My Voice, which growls in a steady four to the floor, anticipating the development of dance elements. Several filtered and FX-ed stabs & chops of vocal bits start flying in and accentuate the flow of the track, while being underlined with a couple of synthy hooks to produce a solid, yet special groove.
The New Me makes a different turn into darker & harder territory, still branding some chopped vox work, while eerie pads set the mood for the tune. Branding frantic hats and a chord of those sweet old off-set analogue hits, the track moves around effortlessly and will surely move the bodies on the floor as well. Dynomite!

]]>Jack Back steps in with a prancing canter of the coolest bassline that flows right there in the middle of techno and tech house banks. When the filtered and nicely panned out classic stabs accentuate the already bouncy core, that funky vox work and all the right FXs join along, you know you won’t sit this one out. It’s just a feel good, old days reminisce, get up and down kind of tune, that explodes after the snare’o’sexy breakdown. Jack is definitely welcomed Back.
On the flip side, things get a bit more serious with a proper arpy intro that soon & sure enough blows out in a marching number. Hard and baked as a Rusk, it delivers a driving opposite of the 1st track with its darker synth lines that carry out the whole structure and complement the percussion work with layers and layers of intricate reverb load. A tougher cookie of the two for sure, more suitable for late night audio snacks, yet still goes down smoothly with a beverage of your preference. The floor is that way.

]]>The first tune kicks off in an retro fashion with its growling warehouse bass, hints of raw analogue synthetic half scales played on the last beat synced to parallel percussion channels, while a creepy filtered voice commands Feel My Groove. Indeed a very peculiar groove, descending in the 90’s era, intertwined with a twisted modern take on techno, that will definitely stand out in podcasts, raves & sets alike.
The Toy is toying us with more ambient structure, where the reverbed low pad ushers in a similar nightmarish male vox, both filtered to oblivion. Perhaps also the place, where this tune would move the gatekeepers at their afterparty, the song continues in its quirky use of percussion work and oscillators, filling out the sonic space with devilish frequencies and an eerie feel of the unfamiliar.

]]>The second track is called “This Planet”, which is a deeper and more floating tune with a vocal educating us about evolution and energy. A clean buildup is followed by a smooth drop where the melodies take the overtone and make for an effortless flow.
“Rule My World” is closing off the EP a bit more banging again, sporting an oldschool synth-line and a relentless rhythm. Fresh new techno-cuts for any time of the night brought to you by SubCult!
