]]>When AKA Carl reached this point he wanted to develop his skills in music production and the music industry. He attended a CPD in the music industry at Paul McCartney’s Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA) in 2005; this then allowed him to further study for a degree in Sound Engineering and Design at Manchester’s School of Sound and Recording (SSR). Whist studying AKA Carl worked in the Technics DJ Academy and worked on successfully establishing his Techno label SUB CULT as well as fine-tuning his own style of mixing and producing.
Now Aka Carl, is since been an established household-brand in the techno scene. Besides his work as a producer, his highly acclaimed label Sub Cult also has caught the eyes and ears of the very artists that influenced him at the beginning of his career. Techno giants like Ben Sims, Jeff Mills, Paul Mac, Vestax, Dave the Drummer, Preach, A. Paul, Pedro Delgardo and lots more have supported him, his label and/or shared the stage with him. He consistently released quality music, plays uplifting and powerful sets and leads SUB CULT with a clear vision.

]]>Peppelino wanted to be the one playing his tracks in the clubs so in 2007 he decided it was time to start Djing, at first playing various clubs in Hungary, Ukraine and Slovenia.
2008 was an even better year for Peppelino, first seeing his tracks being released in vinyl format by some of the biggest Techno labels including Yin Yang and Soul Access and getting numerous top places in the Techno charts and support from his peers, then secondly being signed by respected DJ agency MOSP who has artists like Preach and Wehbba on their roster.
Peppelino’s groovy and energetic vibes were quickly noticed by other leading DJ’s, his tracks are played by some of the biggest names in the dance music scene such as Cristian Varela and Stephane Signore .
It’s just a matter of time before his crisp unique sound dominates your bag or wallet.

]]>Inspired by gloomy landscapes and poisoned reality was born Le Son Du Placard. A heady techno with mental loop overs solid drum and crazy FX. Atmospheres are a central aspect of his music they are the soundscape around which are evolving the different elements bringing some animal life in this strange exoplanet’s wold.
First released on the label Scander ran by Cosmic Boys (Scander/M-nus) in 2014, he quickly got a lot of production for the labels Kaleydo Beats, Yousel records, Redmoon Rec. , Audio Monster, Electrovino, FETT rec., TrueLife rec. and a lot more.

]]>However, these two are a force to be reckoned with in their own right. The Sub Cult label boss Aka Carl has been around the techno block for decades and his imprint was an essential vinyl and digital selection in record boxes from the likes of Dave Clarke, Richie Hawtin, Jeff Mills, Wehbba, Cristian Varela, Eddie Halliwell, Luigi Madonna to name but a few. His consistent quality and distinguished output, whether playing, producing or releasing, set him frequently touring abroad EU and other continents. Fast forward to today and you still rarely hear a set lacking Sub Cult productions. Steel Groves comes in many states & forms such as Single Cell, Subforce (w Jeff F), Rex B, Groove Mekanics (w John Reyes), but the man behind the curtain has shaken the foundations of the underground with his notorious label Capital Techno. Releasing a grand and pounding roster of producers, ranging from newcomers to old cats alike, the only mandatory condition is that their beats were filled with techno tremors with a capital T.
Another thing that connects these two apart from apparent chemical bond of Solid State, is their continuous mutual releasing of records on their respective labels, which started at the beginning of the decade. Both men on a mission also share their religious afflictions to the music & scene, without caring much for the trends or hype that can distort & distract others from the only crucial part of the underground, which is music. This laboratory project will bring about massive collision of mutual visions of techno, which seems to be lost in nowadays repetitions across the research spectrum of electronica. Combined forces in optimal conditions and dark lab coats are delivering a release after release of fresh, pounding and exciting audio output that will surely stand out among the crowd of clinical beats. Solid State welcomes you to a new state of the underground where ideas, zeal, drive and music atoms flow fast, deep and with a purpose

]]>From day one they both knew they wanted to be the ones behind the decks, the ones manipulating the sounds and working the crowd! In 2002 they got there first pair of Technics 1210s and started working on their DJ skills, playing a mixture of energetic dance music at house and free parties in the North West of England. Their first club gig came in 2007, by which time the twins were frapping it out on 3 CDJs and FX, playing techno, tech trance and anything else with a good techy vibe!
Their exciting and imaginative mixes have seen support and play alongside artists including.. Marky EG, Aka Carl, Jordan Suckley & Neal Thomas. In late 2008 Goodgreef’s Jordan Suckley introduced The Technicians to the head of SUB CULT – Aka Carl after hearing they were interested in putting their mark on the scene by making there own Techy beats.
Their first collaboration release followed in 2009 reaching top places in the techno charts including a No. 1 place on Trackitdown with track ‘Aka Carl & The Technicians – Boothead No 3478 Techno Artillery Records’. Further productions followed seeing them release on both digital & vinyl formats on labels SUB CULT and Kazoo.

]]>He initially began his career as a partygoer and soon after turned event promoter / DJ. He then had the chance to play alongside his good friends Umek and Valentino Kanzyani in the blooming Amsterdam techno scene.
After years of establishing himself at home and playing multiple gigs around Europe, he is seen as one of the main contributors to the techno scene and one of the best DJ’s around to date! Veztax strongly believes there has to be some degree of intimacy among artists and Fans to be able to have a great party and it is with this that Veztax has had the opportunity to play warm-up for Acts like Depeche Mode and Placebo and played to stadium-sized audiences.
Other than promoting parties, Veztax has a keen passion to push new talent he has been doing this by booking artists to come and play in his home country as well as signing new artists to his own independent labels.
Vezotonik is well placed in the international techno scene, while Glorio Music serves as a platform for his experimental projects. As a whole Veztax stands for energetic, uplifting, techno music and it’s not slave to any brand or trend in the music industry.
